“Ramblings” are not always wagers.

Race 1 – Owner/breeder Bruce Tallisman claimed back #6 PRIZES INCLUDED to reunite him with the Felicianos at Thistledown where he won against better last May. The horse likes both the track and today’s distance – winner $5.40

Race 2 – #4 YANKEE MICKEY probably needed that last  race coming off vacation. He stands a chance to last on the front here against lesser company. #1 EASY ERNIE is a major threat late – close third and second to logical winner @$4.00

Race 3 – #5 PUT TO THE TEST is realistically spotted at his preferred distance – second a length @15-1; led, finished gamely

Race 4 – #7 WIND OF BOSPHORUS scored twice in Tampa this winter – third

Race 5 – #1 SHOES FOR JLO will need to work out a trip from the rail but sports a running style that gives her a shot in this field full of early speed – winner $3.80

Race 6 – Kenneth Marshall is off to a great start with the stock that he’s shipped from Keeneland. #1 GLOBAL SLOWDOWN was claimed from Ken Ramsey while breaking his maiden in claiming company – winner $9.00

Race 7 – This rich Ohio-bred allowance has drawn a field of eleven fillies and mares that includes five Ohio stakes winners. #4 (pp1) PYRITE BLUES competitive against open company at Tampa seems most likely to get last run at tons of early speed but must run down the three year old filly #2 (pp6) JUSTALITTLESMOKE -scratched- who may be the “speed of the speed” sprinting – winner $4.00

Race 8 – #4 HERETOPLAY returns to claiming company after failing against maiden special weights at Mountaineer – winner $2.80
