Saturday at Thistledown

Ramblings are not always wagers.

Race 1 – #1 GO BOB GO tries claiming company after something went terribly wrong in March – eighth

Race 2 – #7 COPA DEL REY probably needed that last trip – winner $2.80

Race 3 – #6 BEARS SONG switches barns but remains a “horse for course” the most successful of these over the local strip – second

Race 4 – #12 ALL SNUFFED UP has been facing better – winner $6.00

Race 5 – #4 BARRYMORE should like the return to dirt with plenty of pace to attack late – winner $8.00

Race 6 – Two-year-olds make their 2015 debut in Cleveland with a field of first time starters to spice up the Pic4. Although an Ohio-bred leaving from the one hole his $120,000 purchase price in March makes #2 (PP1) WEAVERS IN THE ICE COLD an interesting contender – fourth

Race 7 – Loooch Racing probably sent #7 DESERT VALLEY to town with WAR STORY. The classy filly assures Kent Desormeaux a pre-Ohio Derby mount while collecting an allowance purse – second

Race 8 – Rested and out of the shadow of AMERICAN PHAROAH #2 FAR RIGHT may get good pace set up for his stalking style – sixth

Race 9 – #11 MELISSAS GOOD BOY might be quick enough to steal here off the bench – scratch
