Monday at MVR

Ramblings are not always wagers.

Race 1 – Perhaps the lack of other early speed gives #5 LUCKY T LOU a slight advantage in his rubber match with #9 SEA COURAGE who has been a money burner since arriving from California –  off the board

Race 2 – The Florida purchase #4 YNOT GRAY BOY by Whywhywhy is a horse of interest but the lean goes to #6 CAPE FINISTERRE proven at the distance on dirt for an outfit scoring with 25% first off layoff  – both of the board

Race 3 – Scratched opening weekend for this spot #3 BOOTSONTHEBEACH returns to his best distance – winner $5.40

Race 4 – Remarkable #2 CHELLA the princess of local racing returns to her connections’ hometown following two scores in Kentucky – winner $2.60

Race 5 – #9 LOOOCH’S ONLY SON rushes back to the races before his form cycle crashes. This Ohio-bred shows some competitive efforts in open company – third

Race 6 – #10 ABBY’S SLEW fits with her off the pace running style for a respected barn in this wide open head scratcher – third

Race 7 – Overcoming the wide post position is the major challenge for well prepped #12 OTOKOGI – winner $4.20

Race 8 – Speedy #1 SUTTER’S FIND* seems extremely well spotted taking a class drop and returning to his favorite distance – winner $3.80

Race 9 – The local work is enough for a hunch play on #2 CHIEF CORNSTALK from a barn that can fix young runners – gate scratch
