Mahoning Valley 12/10 – Part 2

Ramblings rather than selections

Race 1
#2 LEGEND OF TUTU is fast enough to dominate here if she does her best work. A fast track would be a plus for #6 ANSWER QUIETLY. 4-7/8DH-5 $12.60

Race 2
#9 TOTAL POSSE returns to his winning distance after passing tiring horses in his MVR debut. #2 SKYNAMIC clicked when dropped to his lowest level ever last time at Royal Mountaineer. 6-5-2*-4 $77.00

Race 3
#7 BRAVE ACT went nose to nose inside 3/5 shot at Mountaineer last time; working here may negate lack of race over the track concerns – Jeff Radosevich is winning at 38% with MNR shippers. #1A (PP9) LIME AND TEQUILA has been battling some of Ohio’s best sprinters recently; has a couple wins here. 7**-1A*-9-3 &10.80

Race 4
#4 HUNTHAY was a shocking near miss trying her first route here – distance or mud? #7 DM’S EXCLUSIVE popped a nice fig in MNR debut to flatter his IND history – Quinones sticks. Finger Lakes shippers are 0/22 at this meet. 5-7*-6-9 $31.80

Race 5
#10 FUR LINED may prefer today’s track condition to muddy 26Nov; she likes the distance and has been running with winners – Pilares second trip on her is a plus. #1 I’M IN FASHION gets another rail trip today exiting that same 26Nov race. The solid trip at MNR and nifty bankroll put #2 BETHANY BELLE in the conversation. 8-1*-2*-10** $20.60

Race 6
Local maiden breaker #6 SHADES OF LIGHT is the fastest of these. Experienced #3 STELLA MOON has knocked at the door twice this fall at this level. The other Gorham filly #7 SPRINGTIME CITY usually make an impressive middle move – eligible to improve today. 4-5-7*-3* $33.40

Race 7
Recent disappointments may have dirtied up some some trips by #6 (PP5) RUSSIAN RHAPSODY who must be the speed of the speeds today in a race loaded with “needs the lead” types. #1A (PP10) FORESTER’S DIVA is on a two race win streak while being the only one in this bunch to score without leading at every point of call. 4-3-1-5 $27.20

Race 8
Short course specialist #9 CHANNEL BOY packs enough early speed to become the first FL shipper into the winners circle at this meet. #12 BEAR’S CONDUCTOR made a big splash in his MVR debut – much the fastest in here. 11-5-8-2 $55.20

Race 9
#10 DESERT DARLIN is the fastest in this slow bunch – she may launch early from the outside returning to a fast track. Also exiting that very competitive race 8 21Nov is #9 WHO’S THE FAIREST – a nice price if she forgets to stop. 6-11-9*-1 $17.00
