Race 1: #4 SATURDAY STORM is an interesting prospect; returns to conditioned claimers; Walter De La Cruz back in the saddle.
Race 2: Longshot #1 FALSELY ALARMED recorded a solid time against strong company last time; running style fits; alternative possibility in a well matched field.
Race 3: Considerable pace expected so #2 WALK AWAY SLOW has an opportunity to grind this field down. Veteran Ohio-bred #9 CLASSIC REWARD is always a threat here and at this distance.
Race 4: Seven consecutive board hits without a winner makes #2b, pp10 MINECRAFTBULLY the obvious one (or an automatic toss-out). Full field of bottom level claimers should complicate the day for pic4/pic5 players.
Race 5: #1, pp2 WARREN’S TIRCIA R. might just be better than the competition she’s finding in Ohio; TD Houghton sticks with Team Loooch; pace fits; three in a row is tough. Hot heat could also set the table for sturdy #3 PEKINESA; trainer switch is a mystery; possibly the first that Richard Dachtler has saddled in his name?
Race 6: Probably won’t get 1/5 today on #8 SOUTHERN MISCHIEF well bred Ohioan who romped in her Buckeye debut; another sharp Loooch pluck out of California.
Race 7: Very deep field filled with new faces – #4 JAGUAR POZ has exploded in both trips over this strip; stalking style may provide mild upset of other notable imports.
Race 8: #5 DEPUTY WANDA takes another slight class slide; would not surprise for new barn; 1/21 record may be deceptive; she’s been solid in Ohio.
